Planes, trains and automobiles

This weekend I visited some other Intermenno trainees at the Mennorode conference centre near Elspeet. This involved lots of travel including:

The surprising part was how easy it all was.

Sites included the Kröller-Müller Museum, which is located within the Hoge Veluwe National Park. The park features a fleet of 1700 white bicycles of many shapes and sizes which are free to use within the park. I also have a new favourite train station. The NS station in Amersfoort is modern, clean and well organized, and out front it features a very cool "Zonnewijzer" (or "sun pointer"): a large motorized mechanical arm that upon which an arrow is mounted that is always pointing at the sun.

Hopefully next weekend will be as eventful.

P.S. The time difference and lack of CBC is really hurting me right now with the Canadians in the (ice) hockey World Cup final. Go Canada.
